I am in my senior year as a Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon University with two years of work experience using AWS technologies, React Native, and APIs at LooperRoom.

I am interested in software engineering and natural language processing (NLP), and would like to work on projects that improve people’s lives and the world we live in. Of course, we are living in an increasingly dangerous world and so having a mind for cyber security is indubitably necessary for all software development and design. I am currently working as a NLP research assistant, holding down a part-time job, and continuing to earn top marks in my major and two minors: Linguistics and Chinese. My greatest life influences have come from being homeschooled, participating in the Friendship Circle, becoming an Eagle Scout, and my membership in the Sigma Nu fraternity. These have taught me the values of servant leadership, team building, creative problem solving, perseverance, communication, compassion, as well as how to work and learn independently.

I love astronomy, hiking, world history and cultures, worldbuilding and conlanging, as well as cooking and eating good food.
